Cheetah Conservation is a leading wildlife conservation initiative dedicated to protecting and preserving the Western Cape’s endangered cheetah population. The Cheetah Run Initiative
Forming part of Inverdoorn Private Game Reserve and the Animal Rescue Centre’s (ARC) rehabilitation programme, the cheetahs partake in daily exercises and ‘hunting simulations’ designed to teach captive-bred cheetahs to chase prey, develop the necessary skills to steer their bodies at high speeds, and exercise their ability to run full speed after a moving target.
